  • Objective:  Understanding the Importance of Proper Keyboarding, Students will practice/demonstrate proper touch keyboarding techniques, Understanding/learning the parts of the Word opening screen, Learn the correct terminology for the parts of the Word opening screen, Students will learn basic features of Word
  • Bellringer:  Typingtest.com (2- 2 minute timing, choose topic), print screen, create new Word file and save it as Week 7, date, paste screen to Word, crop (example), save
  • Hand out Word Lesson 5- Influenza Assignment
  • Review the lesson objectives and importance of tools
  • Guided practice/ independent practice
  • Use correct procedure to check your work
  • Place in basket when done
  • Ultra Key when done

Day 30- Tuesday, October 8th

  • Objectives:  Understanding the Importance of Proper Keyboarding, Students will practice/demonstrate proper touch keyboarding techniques, Understanding/learning the parts of the Word opening screen, Learn the correct terminology for the parts of the Word opening screen, (Word Lesson 3) learn how/why to use Find/Replace feature, save a document, navigate through a document, preview a document, print a doucment

  • Objective:  Students will learn different aspects of a Spreadsheet. Students will learn to Identify parts, navigate worksheets, autocorrect, complete functions, formula creation, editing formulas to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Bellringer:  Typingtest.com (2- 2 minute timing, choose topic), print screen, create new Word file and save it as Week 8, date, paste screen to Word, crop (example), save
  • Spreadsheet discussion: an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations.
  • Show examples and discuss purpose
  • Show navigation tools

  • Review and complete together
