Suggested Text Reading: Chapter 5, pages 105-146, in “Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works, 2nd ed.”

A variety of applications support the strategy of Nonlinguistic Representation. Be prepared to share your idea in the Orange Zone Discussion Forum. Consider creating or asking students to create a Prezi, or edit images using Fotoflexer (either as part of a student project, or for images you want to use to teach a lesson). Presentation apps on the iPad work well here, as well as the many interactives you can find at Thinkfinity or PBS Learning Media. These sites contain interactives for all grade levels and most subjects.

In your Orange Zone Discussion Forum post, you will detail what you will be using or having the students use to support Nonlinguistic Representation. You will need to include a link to the application as well as a description about how it will fit into your lesson.
