  • Monday, September 30th- Day 24
  • Objective:  Understanding the Importance of Proper Keyboarding, Students will practice/demonstrate proper touch keyboarding techniques, Understanding/learning the parts of the Word opening screen, Learn the correct terminology for the parts of the Word opening screen, Students will learn basic features of Word
  • Bellringer:  Typingtest.com (2- 2 minute timing, choose topic), print screen, create new Word file and save it as Week 6, date, paste screen to Word, crop (example), save
  • Hand out Word Lesson 2- Potawatomi Path packet
  • Discuss how to open and save as written on handout.
  • Review the lesson objectives and importance of tools (spellcheck, thesaurus, autocomplete)
  • Guided practice/ independent practice
  • Use correct procedure to check your work
  • Place in basket when done
  • Ultra Key when done

Tuesday, October 1st- Day 25

  • Objectives:  Understanding the Importance of Proper Keyboarding, Students will practice/demonstrate proper touch keyboarding techniques, Understanding/learning the parts of the Word opening screen, Learn the correct terminology for the parts of the Word opening screen, (Word Lesson 3) learn how/why to use Find/Replace feature, save a document, navigate through a document, preview a document, print a doucment
  • Log into Moodle
  • Bellringer:  Typingtest.com (2- 2 minute timing, choose topic), print screen, open Week 6 Word file and add to it, date, paste screen to Word, crop (example), save
  • Finish Word Lesson 2- Potawatomi Path
  • Hand out Word Lesson 3- Treadwall Activity
  • Review the lesson objectives and importance of tools
  • Guided practice/independent practice
  • Use correct procedure to check your work
  • Ultra Key when done

Wednesday, October 2nd - Day 26

  • Discuss directions and expectations
  • Guided practice to begin
