This tutorial will help you learn how to navigate in 21 Things 4 Students.
This tutorial will guide you through Quest 1 with step by step instructions. There will be a student checklist on the right side toward the bottom that will help you keep track of when you complete each step. Date each step as you complete it.
There will also be a quizlet for every quest. It will be located on the right hand side also and normally below the student checklist.
Please complete this quiz and take a screen shot of your score and save to your google drive as: Your Last Name- Quest 1 Quiz (Example: DENNIS- Quest 1 Quiz).
Quiz is for proficiency so you can take it as many times as needed to get a score of 90% or higher. On your student checklist, please record how many questions you got correct (Example: 6/6= means you got six questions correct out of 6 questions possible)
In quilt under options (on the left bottom) you can choose what type of questions you prefer. Do not change the number of questions.

Students will demonstrate correct touch keyboarding techniques. Students will improve keystroking speed and accuracy. Students will demonstrate skill in using numbers, symbols and punctuation marks.

Word Processing Unit
Word Processing Learning Targets:
Students will understand formatting concepts. Students will create error-free documents. Students will demonstrate ability to print documents. Students will demonstrate ability to upload documents to Moodle.

I can identify the parts of the normal view screen.
I can understand menus and toolbars.
I can enter text.
I can check spelling and grammar of a document.
I can make corrections using autocorrect, automatic spell checker, and automatic grammar checker.

I can print a document or upload the document to Moodle.
Digital Footprint Unit
Digital Footprint Learning Targets:
Students will know that when you use the Internet you leave a digital footprint behind. Students will understand that your digital footprint remains and evolves, and can have an impact on your life during and after school. Students will understand the concept of a blog and the use of blogs to enhance communication. Students will gain understanding of the meaning of voice. Students will use responsible public writing. Students will transfer the learning by creating an online web presence.
