9.2 Learn About Free Online Assessment Tools
Explore An Online Assessment Tool
Now that you are familiar with some of the free online assessment tools available on the web, take some time to explore one of the tools that you would be interested in using at your school. While exploring the tool, be sure to:
- Bookmark the website
- Create an account (Keep your username and password someplace safe!)
- Practice using the assessment tool as if you were using it in class
- This may require you to use another web browser or device
- Create various assessment items
- (OPTIONAL) Use this assessment tool with your students
After you are done exploring the assessment tool, you will need to go to the next activity, the Forum titled Sharing your Online Tool Experience. In the forum, you will be asked to answer the following questions:
- Which free online assessment tool did you explore?
- How might you use this assessment tool in your school?
- What do you see as the benefits?
- What are the challenges and how could you overcome them?
