1) Definitely through the use of hypothesis. By making students think about how the play would change if the soliloquy was taken out or spoken by another character students will begin to understand the true importance of the soliloquy which is clearly set in the objective of the lesson.
2) The only technology that my students and I will use is through our own making (Google Docs, tables, Prezis, Powerpoint, etc.). These will be used throughout the lesson but mainly in the Blue Zone because it reinforces the idea of similarities/differences and forming hypotheses.
3) Students will do extra practice through the use of similarities/differences because they will delve deeper into their analysis of the character of Hamlet. This will also allow them to better understand the connections between characters. This will be done through technological advances (tables, Venn diagrams, etc) that I will look over and give feedback on so that students can further build on those activities.
