Now that you have reviewed the strategies for best practice instruction in the Red Zone, “Creating the Environment for Learning,” take a few minutes to reflect on these strategies. In your post, please include the following information about your Capstone Project Lesson Plan:

  1. What is the Objective for the lesson? What do you expect students to know, understand, or be able to do when they master this Objective?
  2. Describe how you will use technology to Provide Feedback to students. If you are using an online rubric, put the link to the rubric in your post.
  3. How will you use technology to define and Recognize Effort for students with regards to this objective? If you are creating a rubric, Google form, or survey to define effort for students, include the link. How will you Provide Recognition? If you are using a certificate from Certificate Street, include a screenshot. If you are Providing Recognition in another format or using a site such as Class Badges, describe it here.
  4. How will students collaborate and use Cooperative Learning while working to master the objective of your lesson? Provide a link to the tool you feel will help students collaborate in your lesson using technology and explain how you will use it.

In addition, please read and offer feedback to at least three of your colleagues. Keep your feedback positive and helpful by beginning with a positive comment. Include feedback on the objective for the lesson. Is it too specific, too general, or just specific enough?  Sentence tags such as, "Have you considered..." or "You might want to try..." will help the reader focus on the ideas you have for developing the Capstone Project lesson plan.
