LEARNING OBJECTIVES Students will create a 30-second movie to depict a vocabulary word along with its definition, an example or illustration, and a synonym using EduCreations on the iPad. Following the creation of a video students will participate in discourse over the words.

Recognition: We are going to have a discussion after the videos where recognition will be provided. As the video discussed, my classroom will understand the relationship of effort and performance because I will constantly enforce this. I'm not sure class badges are necessary.
Cooperative Learning: Students can also assist peers in their work. They will also be required to comment on at least two student videos. An online portfolio of vocabulary words and projects could be kept online and students could have to comment on others.
